I like how you covered the tags on your bumper. I was thinkin about boxing out a step onn either side somewhat like that but boxed in. Well see

so you thinking its a bad injector ?
It was maybe a couple bad injectors. According to @Larry it was injectors in his 8.1L that caused all the missing. So I ordered up a set being it has 197k on em. Man what a difference!!! This thing is an animal now!

Had a few minutes today to figure out how to set all the displays in the dakota dash. Now I have trans and air Temps and all kinds of other info at the push of a button. I have to run the tank to low for the fuel range to calibrate plus I'm sure it'll change with the new injectors hopefully with better mileage. Also put one of the shop fire extinguishers on the hump next to the shifter in the empty space.

Parked up next to my old 1/2 ton my mom now drives. Also did truck stuff but the o2 sensors keep throwing codes. 0134/0154 no activity. Takes a while for them to come back on after cleared but it definitely pops through the exhaust once it illuminates again. Not sure if I should just throw $200 at 2 new o2 sensors...

Since I only had the one run down with the new injectors it felt better but developed the exhaust popping again so I just tested the fuel psi and it's at 75psi!:yikes::eek:

So I turnid it back down to 67 or so. The popping disappeared and it smoothed out but at 20 miles the same o2 codes came back. Tomorrow I'm gonna put a new set in and see how it goes.

Brakes need a proportion valve. I can lock the 4 boggers in the rear and the front pulls right with two new calipers and pads so I'll pull that driver one off again ancheck the slide plate.

Tank and guage came in so I figured I'd get set up for the passenger saddle tank and transfer. Was gonna do it all - an6 but I don't want to have to shut the truck down to transfer fuel. Kinda defeats the purpose, so I gotta find a 5/8 x 3/8 barb tee while out tomorrow and if the tank straps and filled neck come in time IL finish the install! Gonna drive it to the mountains about 100 miles or so this weekend so I would like to have it.
Also have two new o2 sensors coming tomorrow am. I really hope they are just fouled out and the new ones work.

Tank went in I'll take pics later as I was in a rush to get on the road. Fuel guage for pass side is wrong. Reading full at empty and just over half when topped. This is only a temporary mount I made in about 3.5 minutes.
